Owen Skeen (he/him) is a writer, artist, and union organizer. His multidisciplinary practice engages theoretical and practical intersections between art and insurgent political action.
Owen is currently serving as Chairperson of the Canadian Federation of Students Nova Scotia, while studying at the University of King’s College in Kjipuktuk/Halifax.
Owen previously served two terms as President of the Student Union of the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design from 2023 to 2025, and as National Treasurer of the Canadian Federation of Students from 2025 to 2026.
Owen’s art practice is critical, post-contemporary, and future-oriented.
